Iron Lung, Celebrate Rotary's Centennial Year, Publicize Polio Plus Campaign
Please notify all Palm Beach Rotary Club members that we have a wonderful
opportunity for them to participate in a PR event to recognize Rotary's
contribution for the eradication of polio.
Ask all members to be at the Rehabilitation Center (300 Royal Palm Way, Palm
Beach) at 5:30 PM on Monday, June 6th. The iron lung will be there and
newspaper photographers will attend. See the website noted below for photos
and details of the iron lung tour which will end up in Chicago for the RI
Convention several weeks from now. There is no charge to be at the Monday
event stop, and there will be free pizza & sodas for all who attend. The
tour and iron lung will leave about 7 PM to go to Miami for its next stop.
We are inviting all Rotarians in our local clubs and hope to have a good
turnout. Go to the parking lot behind the Rehab Center when you arrive at
300 Royal Palm Way.
