Florida has the highest foreclosure rate in the nation. Maria called Governor Crist and they decided to form an advisory group called HOPE. Crist and Maria eventually formed a Task Force specifically in Palm Beach County (also called HOPE), which incorporated Bank of America, SunTrust, Regents Bank and a whole group of executives and City officials, including the mayors of Boca Raton and Delray Beach.
September 22nd, they will hold a workshop at Old School Square in which all residents of Palm Beach County are invited to take a look at their struggling finances due to mortgages. Bring your Mortgage Documents as Realtors, Lawyers, Financial Counselors, Mayors; Mortgage Bankers will all be there to help these Residents figure out the best option. All the information is confidential and Residents will receive a 1-on-1 tailored solution to their financial woes.
There will be a second workshop in Lake Worth and a 3rd in N. County.
Maria Sachs has an Open Door Policy so stop by anytime.
This also is the final posting for Sid Breman, retired FAU professor and CPA. Sid is away until mid-October.
