We're glad you are back! Bruce entertained us on piano today.

Bob gave the invocation.

We sang two Rotary classics: Smile and R-O-T-A-R-Y!

Harvey Brown called on our visiting Rotarians and guests: Ray
Butterfield from Cranston Rhode Island and Ron Jamie from Gaylord
Michigan

Bob announced that Bill Arnst is collecting orders for Holiday wreaths.
The wreaths are $25.00. Please pay when you order.  Don't wait - get
your orders in now.

AWOLS: Jess Sowards (BOO!)

Alan Kornblau introduced the student of the month and the teacher of the
month.

Congratulations to student of the month, Jessica Perfetto! Jessica is a
student at Atlantic HS and has many accomplishments. Some of her
accomplishments are:

o        Varsity Swim Team Member

o        Plays Piano

o        Relay for life Co-Chair

o        Duel enrolled in FAU

o        2010 National Merit Scholar

o        Donated 4 times to Locks of Love and has helped organize
several donations

o        Speaks French and Italian

o        Jessica wants to be a Pediatric Surgeon and is hoping to get
into Yale.

                Congratulations to Mrs. Harriett Schilit. She is the
English AP teacher at Atlantic High.

                Both Mrs. Schilit and Jessica received a $50.00 check
from our club, congratulations!

Our guest speaker was Gwenn Shannon from the Quantum House. Quantum
House provides lodging and support to families during a medical crisis.
Quantum house is located adjacent to St. Mary's hospital and is
supported 100% by donations. The Quantum House is kicking off their
annual Quarters for Quantum fund raiser and hopes to raise $10,000.00
this year. If you see their donation cans, please contribute your loose
change! The Quantum house also has a wish list for things they need such
as kitchen supplies, Laundry supplies, etc. Contact the Quantum house at
561-494-0515 if you have items to donate or would like to volunteer!

Green Hat is around $180 - No winner today...Better luck next week!
