community...we need more help to take care of our residents!

Craig Hammett - advised that Harvey Brown Jr was not attending today as
he is in mourning for his gators after the crimson tide rolled over them
in the game... Feel better soon, Harvey!

Mil Jean Bennett introduced our speakers who are discussing concerns for
us all.
First, Adam David with Home Health Care - He gave us some good tips for
helping us all stay independent and living in our own homes for as long
as we possibly can. Second, Judith Hence who discussed long term care
insurance and how it pays for more than nursing home coverage now. You
can customize plans for what you want rather than just nursing home
care.
Bill Arnst announced green hat is at $265.00. No winners today. Play
again next week!
12/15/2009 Ramblings
Bruce entertained us. Bob opened our meeting.
Harvey Brown Jr did the invocation today as well as introduced the
visiting Rotarians and guests.
The Atlantic High School chorus class came and sang some wonderful
holiday songs for us. They started with the "Star Spangled Banner" and
then did other familiar songs of the season.
Atlantic High has a free program tomorrow evening - all are welcome!
Craig Hammett advised us of AWOLS (Fred, Dave, Stormi Normet- his
birthday and anniversary are today - Congratulations!)
Money donated today was $124.00 - Thank you!
Last day for Adopt A Family - get Craig your money ($10 please from
each!)
Alan Kornblau - raffle 12/29 pull date - get your money and stubs in!
Unhappy announcement! Hans and Catherine Schatteman will be leaving to
go back to Belgium. We will miss them both very much not only as fellow
Rotarians but as leaders for our Rotaract Club. For Hans, it's a
promotion. We're happy for that but sad for ourselves because we will
miss them. We wish them the very best!

and Hans pulled the 10 of diamonds....Let's play again next week!
